Performance and Acting Resume
Anjuli is a dancer, choreographer, visual artist and graphic designer from New York City.Anjuli is also the Creative Director for Cre808 Studios, a creative space for artists based in Brooklyn, NY.

Anjuli Bhattacharyya, a contemporary/modern dancer and choreographer, was a top contestant on India’s number 1 reality dance show, “Just Dance.” Anjuli has also been featured in Music videos like Maroon 5, Felix Snow, and Clifton as well featured in various commercials and film roles from her work as a freelance performer. She has taught jazz, modern, contact improvisation and street jazz classes for 10 years in both Kentucky and New York, most notably at NY City center for the Fall For Dance program in 2010. She danced as full-time company member for Manhattan based Eyes of a Blue Dog Dance Theater, a contemporary ballet and modern mixed media dance company from 2009-2012. Anjuli is currently producing, choreogaphing, directing, and performing in a Live Concert Event for Star TV entitled Just Dance Live.

Anjuli received her Bachelor’s in Marketing Business Administration and Dance minor from the University of Kentucky in the spring of 2007. She was president of and has choreographed over 15 pieces for the UK dance ensemble. In 2004, Anjuli received the Mary King Montgomery Kouns Choreography Award. In 2006, she received the R.D. and Caroline Kirkpatrick Scholarship, and in 2007 she was honored with the Founder’s Scholarship for significant contribution to dance at UK. Also in 2007 and 2008, she was granted a full scholarship to American Dance Festival’s summer intensive where she served as Assistant to Charles Reinhart, Director of the ADF. She worked as the Managing Editor of Movmnt Magazine in 2008 and 2009. In 2010 and 2011, she danced at both APAP performing arts festivals and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival with Eyes of a Blue Dog. Anjuli has performed pieces choreographed by Jose Limon, Leymis Bolanos, Barry Youngblood, Jerry Rose, Dalia Carella, Rodger Belman, and Gaspard Louis of Pilobolus. She has also performed with Kinesis Dance Project at the Judson Church and Gaspard and Dancers, a Durham, NC based dance company.
